Warm Weather Apparel
Working out in hot weather increases your risk of heat cramps, heat exhaustion, or even, the fatal “heat stroke.” All three risks can be avoided once you know the symptoms. Heat cramps happen when you dehydrate and deplete your body of electrolyte and water. The most noticed substance loss for heat cramps are sodium chloride and potassium. Further loss of body fluids will lead to the next level – heat exhaustion.
Heat exhaustion takes place when your core body temperature has increased to a point when your blood filtering, sweat discretion, lungs inhalation, exhalation cannot keep your body cool. Some symptoms to look out for are lightheadedness, dizzy, feeling faint, or getting a headache.
The last stage of overheating that we will identify is heat stroke. This can be deadly. The symptoms vary. You may sweat as your body is trying to cool down, whereas your partner may be completely dry and very salty.
Note: This is the only level of heat stress in which ice immersion is recommended.

Exercising in cold settings, such as cross-country skiing, snow skiing or jogging in the drizzling sleet is different from the warm weather requirements. Your fitness clothes still need keep your skin dry. Keep your chest, head, and limbs at a certain temperature to protect your chest and head congestion and your limbs from frostbite. Remember pneumonia can be life threatening.
Your chest cavity holds very vital organs like your heart and lungs. Your head, of course, holds the brain of course, yet it is usually responsible for most of the body’s heat loss. And of course your limbs, fingers and toes are very vulnerable in cold weather condition. Keep your skin as dry as possible by using the best fitness clothes available.
Dress in layers for cold weather. The correct way to layer clothing is to put a thin layer on first, put a thicker layer next; or you may choose to just add more thin layers.
